When we started the design on this Verona Wi deck remodel, we had to consider children's safety, the space it provided and the condition of the existing framing. All of the framing had to be replaced due to the condition we found it in after taking the decking off. We were able to rebuild the foundation which saved a lot in the end. We extended the existing deck by 6', rebuilt and redirected the stairs and landing. The existing decking was replaced with Trex Select Saddle with a Woodland Brown border, picture frame and accents. We then added a storage chest, Trex post lighting, direct gas line for the grill and a Trex aluminum gate to help with child safety on the steps.
